{ Elizabeth & Julia Biographies }


Elizabeth James began her unique professional recipe with an educational background in Nutrition and Dietetics. Her pot then came to a rolling boil as Food Editor for Party Magazine. From there, she contributed monthly columns and features for publications such as: Newsweek, Times-Mirror, NFL Pro and Bon Appetit.

Elizabeth's menu quickly expanded with the development of nutritionally based children's videos for McDonalds Corporation and Healthy Eating videos with Toastmaster, Jenny Craig and Jazzercize.

" Healthy Eating With Style", "Lifestyle Changes and Food Trends"continue to be ongoing themes for Elizabeth, in projects with Ship Shape Cruises, Montignac U.S.A., Inc. and several national food boards. These ingredients, vigorously stirred are an ideal mix with her continuing corporate involvement in nutrition and restaurant menu development.

Elizabeth holds an RD and MPH degree, has spent over twenty years in the food industry and worked with food clients all over the world.

Julia Weinberg is the best selling author of Gourmet Bouquet, The Big Beautiful Book of Hors d'oeurves and Tofu Magic, with a fourth book simmering and scheduled for a Fall 2000 release.

With an educational background in dietetics and design from UCLA, Julia has spent over eighteen years in the sizzle of the food styling skillet, serving up well over 2000 commercials, stills, videos and print ads, all - the - while stirring up worldwide sales of over 250,000 books and serving as Food Coordinator for the "Los Angeles Times," HOME Magazine.

With time-tested experience, now spanning various parts of the globe, Julia was actually recruited by clients to form "Cookwrite Publishing", specializing in innovative, trend setting, manufacturer specific cookbooks, pamphlets, recipe cards and cooking videos.

She has taught at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America; lectured at UCLA and Art Center School of Design. She is a graduate of Standford University School of Publishing, and speaks several languages.

With over fifteen years as associates, these two consumate culinarians combine their extraordinay ingredients, talents and global resources to bring you a bountiful banquet of dedicated services.
